Tauwhare Bus Service Patronage Growing

Latest patronage data for the new Tamahere-Tauwhare bus service is growing as more people seek public transport rather than using their own vehicles. The data shows Tamahere/Tauwhare residents are definitely taking advantage of the service in concert with workers coming from Hamilton to work and return from the Tamahere Eventide Home and Village.

Here are the comparative figures for the service since its inception on February 24th of this year.

It is evident the University stop is the most popular followed by. the Eventide Home.

While by no means on a par with other community centred bus services in the WDC it is encouraging to see usage increasing.
