The first meeting of your Community Committee will be held at 7.30pm Tuesday the 13th of February at the Tamahere Community Hall and you are invited to attend.
There are a number of pertinent issues which need to be addressed and your input is welcomed. They include:
1. TCC Submissions:
· Housing Strategy information gathering workshop – update.
· Proposed Water Supply Bylaw – now adopted by WDC.
· WDC proposed Speed Management Plan Early Engagement Uodate
· WDC Local Alcohol Policy – update on appeals. Latest from Councilor Crystal Beavis
2. Other Business
· Proposed Tamahere/ Matangi/ Hamilton trial bus service to commence this month. Feed back regarding bus stop location in Tamahere Village.
· Tamahere Park exercise equipment – Funding in place. Update
· New blood on Committee, succession planning.
· Any opportunity to catch up with NZTA to get current status of Southern Links & footpath/ cycleway from Alfred Main Drive to Riverlea Road?
